Jinji Kids Tennis Workout!

Days: Every Tuesday and Friday
Tennis court is located at the 5th floor Fitness Center of Hilton Tokyo Hotel. Access Map.

Level 1 Beginners Group  Time 3:30 to 4:30pm
Level 2 Advanced Group Time 4:30 to 5:30pm

Program focuses on Technical skill, Tactical skill and Mental skill.

junior development
The tennis class is for mixed ages, from 7-12 years old. The development weekend class will give children the opportunity to have an extra group lesson, and the chance for new players to come and join in, have fun and play tennis over the weekend. Also the weekend tennis classes will give the chance for children from different schools to come and join in as well.

little champ
One of program for kids named "Little Champ" is for children from 5-6 years old. This tennis program will introduce tennis to the children in a fun and rewarding way. We will teach all the strokes by using special sized rackets and soft tennis balls. This program is a great way to build on children's natural enthusiasm for sport, and by using different motor skills we can help them to develop there sporting attributes. By watching and listening, children are able to develop their skills in movement, control and coordination, and through group lessons children learn to become more interactive and will improve their self-confidence.

2012 Schedule:Every Saturdays 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Total of 8 lessons

This Lesson is for Kids/Junior Players who want intensive or intimate lesson.

Schedule: everyday, 7am- 9pm.

How to register: Please contact Jinji Tennis Center by E-mail or call us with the details of your son/daughter (name, age, program name).

The parents can park the cars at the school playground.
all the gear made of YONEX.
in the end of the term all the kids will receive tennis certificate with a group photos and some small gifts.
those lessons are open to boys and girls .

Additional Information:
  • JINJI TENNIS CENTER can supply kids with tennis rackets if needed.
  • In case of rain the junior development and little champs program will be inside the sports hall.
  • Kids from out side of Tokyo International School is most welcome to take part in the tennis lesson.
  • Please contact Jinji Tennis Center by E-mail or phone for more information regarding the time frame of the Tennis lessons.
Additional information for the parents:
  • For the safety of the kids, we are looking for parents who will volunteer. You will need stay inside the playground during the tennis lesson until your children finish their lesson.
  • Parking will not be permitted in the schoolyard; we are strongly recommended to use the public transportation (T.I.S located 5 min walk from Tamachi station).
  • The main gate for the schoolyard will open 10 minutes before the lesson and be close 5 min after lessons have begun. we would like to make those tennis days the most enjoyable for your child. Any support will be most welcome, and Thank you in advance for your co-operation.
Safety
  • Safety is a top priority for the Jinji Tennis Center staff & T.I.S School staff and this is why one of our trademark
  • A characteristic is to keep the staff to student ratio as low as possible. On average this ratio is kept between 5:1 and 7:1. This low ratio ensures that your child is kept out harms way and subsequently has a better tennis lesson experience.
  • Our first priority is to insure your child safety and enjoyment.
  • Our school insurance does cover for any medical attention during the weekend activity. But we need to insure that few parents will stay inside the school playground to help us to navigate the children. Please consider it before you register your child to any weekend activities at our playground.
